Agents, Norms and Institutions
for Regulated Multiagent Systems

The engineering of effective regulatory mechanisms is a key problem for the design of open complex multi-agent systems. Of the many possible ways of looking into this problem, the workshop focuses on the notion of norms and artificial institutions as a flexible means to constrain and/or impose behaviour. Researchers from various fields are invited to discuss conceptual, formal, and technical aspects that bear upon the formalization, design, construction and deployment of regulated multi-agent systems.
